The Naught Bee’s Knees
The Bee’s Knees Cocktail is an easy and delicious cocktail. You’ll find it hard to stop at one. A cocktail which harks back to the Prohibition era, the Bee’s Knees is served in a small cocktail glass. Despite its small stature, it packs a punch in terms of flavour and you’ll definitely think it is the ‘Bee’s Knees’.
- 50ml of Naught Australian Dry Gin
- 20ml honey syrup
- 20ml lemon juice
- lemon coin
To make the honey syrup, add 200ml of water with 100ml of honey to a saucepan and heat on the stove until combined.
You can then add it to the fridge to cool and take 20ml as you need for your Bee’s Knees.
Make it like this:
Pour all the ingredients except the lemon coin, into the shaker and shake vigorously for approximately 8-10 seconds. Taste the ingredients to check you have the right balance of flavour. Fine strain into a pre-chilled Nick and Nora glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
