Basil & Rhubarb make a beautiful combination. This is a refreshingly aromatic take on the traditional gin cocktail, the Tom Collins.
Sourcing the ingredients for this cocktail will be worth the effort. You will need to make a few things in advance like a semi rich sugar syrup (please see below), and purchase a bottle of Fee Brother Rhubarb Bitters for your home bar.
Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the mixology and the process of making this Basil Collins; from sourcing the ingredients to taste testing the flavours, presenting your cocktail in the glass, and sitting back to enjoy the first sip.
It may just be your new favourite summertime gin cocktail!
