Australia's Cocktail Gin

Naught is a gin built for more than sipping, it’s made to perform. Crafted with toasted wattle seed and native macadamia, our gin brings texture, depth and a rich, velvety mouthfeel that elevates every cocktail it touches. From silky martinis to spiced tiki serves, it’s the base spirit for bartenders and cocktail lovers who care about what’s in the glass, and how it feels going down.

Our unique gin distillation process

At Naught we draw out our distilling process to ensure we maximise flavour and oil extraction. We begin by sourcing the best botanicals from around the world to provide the best quality gin you can buy.

To begin we start by using a base spirit distilled from wheat, which means we can begin creating our gin with a high-quality canvas right from the start. Wheat-based spirits carry lovely oils, creating a velvety mouthfeel and long finish on the palate which resonates with our customers.

World Class Botanicals

This base spirit is then pumped into our 800-litre copper pot still where we begin to add our botanicals in the maceration stage of our distillation. These botanicals are agitated and heated up in an overnight process to maximise oil extraction.

The next morning we turn on the still and start the distillation process. The still heats up gradually and once the internal temperature hits 78 degrees the gin starts to evaporate and make its way through the pipes of the still. This helps clean the spirit and purify the vapour before it is run through a condenser which turns the vapour back into a liquid flowing out of the still at about 90% ABV. This liquid is now called gin.

An award-winning Australian gin

Naught Australian Dry Gin was never made to blend in. Our original release took over 300 distillations to perfect, earning Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and top honours at the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards.

Every bottle is crafted in small batches using native botanicals and traditional methods that bring unmistakable character to the glass. Whether it's our Australian Dry, Overproof, Sangiovese or Barrel-Aged varieties, our gins have a thing for collecting metal.

Growing Internationally

With such high praise of our spirits in only a matter of years, it was a no-brainer for owner Chris Cameron to push the brand overseas. Since 2025 Naught Gin has been working hard to grow it's footprint around the world. The first international market opened was Singapore, years of hard work and dedication to secure an importer and distributor had finally paid off.

Since launching the brand in Singapore in mid 2025 Naught has grown its footprint to key SE Asian markets including the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and mainland China. Participating in trade shows around the world such as BCB Berlin, Prowein Dusseldorf and Shanghai along with CIIE in China and FHA in Singapore has helped Naught showcase their premium spirits to countless people within the hospitality industry.

With help from Global Victoria and Austrade Naught has been able to participate in international shows it otherwise may not have. Naught Distilling's business received grant funding from the Australian Government through Austrade’s Export Market Development (EMDG) program. This funding has helped grow their business overseas.
